How to add new Trainees

There are a couple of options when adding trainees: individually or a bulk upload using an excel spreadsheet. 

1. From the left-hand navigation pane, select "Users".

2. On the right side of the page is a drop-down menu under "Add Users". 

3. Select either Individual or From Excel.

4a. If Individual is selected, enter the following required information: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. If trainees do not have email addresses, usernames can be used once enabled. There are optional fields such as adding new users to a group and/or inviting to a course. Once the required information is entered, click the yellow "add" button in the bottom right corner.

4b. If "From Excel" is selected, a spreadsheet with the following information is required to add new trainees: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address/Username. There is a sample spreadsheet that can be downloaded if needed.

 

4b. From your spreadsheet, Mindflash will take the "Excel Fields" and automatically add to "Mindflash Fields". These are First Name, Last Name, and Email Address/Username. If there are additional optional Excel fields, these can be clicked and dragged to the Mindflash custom fields. Next, click continue.

 

4b. On the new page, confirm Trainee information is accurate. If trainees need to be added to a group or be invited to a module/course, that can be accomplished here as well. Lastly, click "Add".
