How to create an In-Person module
In-Person modules are a Premium and Enterprise tier feature enabling Administrators or Trainers to track training that is done either in-person or via a webinar.
Creating In Person Training in Mindflash
From the Home page, click "Modules" from the left navigation. Next, click "Create Module" button.
Select “In Person” to create a live training.
You will be brought to the Manage tab for the module where you can enter the module name, description, add handouts for your trainees to download from their trainee dashboard, and enable scoring for the module.
Next, you'll need to add the new in person module to a course. From the Home page, click "Courses" from the Left Navigation. Next, click "Create Course" button.
Complete the course information page.
Once you have saved the course information, click on the “Modules” tab. Select “Add Module” in the upper right hand side of the screen.
Next you will locate the module you just created in the list of available modules. Select the module and click “Add Item” to add the module to the course. You can also include On Demand modules in the same course as an In Person module.
Once you have added the module to the course you can invite your trainees. To assign the course you will select the orange “Invite” bottom in the upper right hand corner. Select the option to assign the In Person training to either “Existing”, or “New trainees”.
Once the trainee list has populated you will select the trainee or trainees who need to be marked complete for attending the In Person training by checking the box next to the required names. Next you will select the yellow “Invite” button located in the lower left hand of the screen.
Note: If the course only consists of an in person module, the invited trainees will not receive a course invitation email, but they can access any handouts from their trainee dashboard. If the course includes in person and on demand modules, the trainees will receive a course invitation email.
To mark the trainees complete and give them a score (if enabled) follow the instructions here.
