Best practices on uploading video to Mindflash
If you are using video recording or editing software and have a choice of output options, we recommend the following settings:
- Maximum resolution:1280 x 720
- Output video codec: H.264
- Output audio code: AAC
- Output format: .mp4
There is no limit on the number of files in a course, but a single file needs to be under 1 GB in order to upload successfully.
If you already have a video file and want to check if it will work on Mindflash, please visit our partner site: https://zencoder.com/en/formats
If your users are in low bandwidth locations (download speeds of under 1 megabit per second), we suggest uploading the video to YouTube and linking to that YouTube video in Mindflash. YouTube converts the video file to many formats that make it work well in low-bandwidth scenarios.
Mindflash also supports GoToWebinar recorded files.
