Common Troubleshooting Tips
Occasionally you may find yourself in a situation where Mindflash is behaving a little odd (e.g. unable to move forward to the next slide, files cannot be uploaded properly, site is very slow, etc.) Here are some quick tips to for most common issues:
Browsers try to store data from websites in an effort to speed up load times-- this is referred to as cacheing. In most cases, cacheing is great, but sometimes websites that you visit and whose pages change often can get bogged down with stale data and result in things not functioning as they should, such as showing old or inaccurate data. A quick and easy way to get things running again, log out of your account and then clear the cache, and then log back in.
Here's a link on how to clear your cache in Chrome.
Disable VPN and/or Ad blockers
VPNs and Ad blockers are great, and sometimes mandatory by your employers, however they occasionally do block certain files and can disrupt the way Mindflash works. If you're running into an issue (slides won't load, files won't upload), try disabling the VPN and/or Ad blocker and seeing if that fixed the issue.
Try a Different Browser
Mindflash currently supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and the two latest versions of Safari. If you're currently experiencing an issue, try using a different browser than the one you're currently using.
Try on a Different Device
Occasionally a course doesn't seem to be working because of a setting or software (VPN, Firewall, ad blocker, etc.) that manipulates the way Mindflash functions on your device. A common fix will be trying to use a different device. For example, if you're using your smartphone and running into an issue, try using your laptop and vice versa.
